DIA Trust was officially launched in 2004, by Mr. Manzoor Ahmed Laleka, the founder trustee, on World Children’s Day and since then it has captured appreciation from the masses. It works for the development, information and awareness of children, youth and women in health, education and other social sectors of the community. The regions of operation of DIA Trust include cities such as Lahore and Bahawalnagar as well as remote and underdeveloped areas of the country. Informative and educational programs are arranged for children in schools, centers for special children, hospitals, slums, and villages. Empowerment and non-formal education of women is also an area of special focus.
